How to Treat Face Scars

Scars ruin your appearance that can otherwise be a flawless, healthy and attractive. They actually draw attention more than anything else, thus leaving you with feelings of becoming unnecessarily self-conscious while interacting with people in your social group. In fact, it leaves adverse impression that can affect your image on others.
How scars are formed?
Scars can occur from a cut, a tear, or an injury on the skin. Sometimes, acne and pimples leave blemishes after disappearing. It’s part of skin’s natural healing process by which new skin is formed in place of damaged one.
These can be of different sizes , shapes and depth based upon how severe is the damage of the tissue.

For stimulating regrowth of new skin cells a preparations of Alpha-Hydroxy Acids and Beta-Hydroxy Acids in the right concentration and pH is ideal. It can work wonders for replacing damaged skin with newer fast. These hydroxyl acids are available in different preparations like toners, creams, lotions and face wash. You can pick up any of these according to your choice as well as suitability.
Severe stage
Medical procedures or surgery like microdermabrasion, laser treatment, or the use of dermal fillers are recommended for deeper scars removal.
In microdermabrasion, a procedure is carried out for buffing of the skin surface to make the skin appear smoother, clean and blemish-free.
Laser treatment is the best solution for stubborn scar tissue as it helps with the stimulation of new skin cells growth.
Precautions
The best practice for treatment of severe scars is to consult an expert dermatologist, who will recommend you the most suitable method. Also, ask for any precautionary measures after treatment is over. Some doctors suggest to avoid exposure to heat, chemicals and extreme weather. Avoid touching your skin with finger tips or any other object that can transfer bacteria and worsen the condition. Never prick pimples or acne as it can form stubborn blemishes that become really hard to remove.
