Spa at Home Ideas for Girls

Many women don’t have enough time or resources to get spa memberships or regular visits. They can improve their health and beauty at home with just a few simple things.

 
Essential oils

 
These oils have soothing scent that can lift your spirit and refresh you. Lavender oil combined with neroli and almond oil in small amount can do wonders. Take shower and then gently rub this oil mixture over your entire body. Turn on shower and breathe in that scent. Pat dry with towel.
Self-Massage
Tired after hectic day and want some relief? Why don’t give yourself an invigorating massage and stay energetic. Learning how to do self-massage is a grand idea. Get information from online magazines or your nearest library. There you will be able to know how to massage hands, feet, head, face and neck to soothe muscles. Massage lightly using any good quality cream or oil.

 
Hair care

 
Sweet almond, argan, jojoba, or coconut oil are very friendly to your delicate hair. So give a thorough massage using any of these oils. Instead of applying direct, massage in wet hair because oil gets absorbed better in damp hair. Massage your scalp and cover head with a warm towel. Wash after 30 minutes of an hour.

Give a body scrub every week to remove dead skin cells and make it smoother. Make it at home by mixing oatmeal, granulated brown sugar and a light oils such s almond or sunflower 2 tablespoons each. Apply it on wet skin all over the body except face, in circular movement. Wash with warm water and pat dry . Apply moisturizer.

 
Facial mask

 
Take five aspirin tablets, and almond oil or warm water. Grind tablets to make powder, pour oil or water and mix well. Apply this thin paste over your face and neck. Leave for about 10 minutes. Wash this mask with cold water. It will refresh and cleanse your skin.

 
Don’t ignore your feet

 
Feet are often neglected. Soak your feet in pineapple juice and warm water mixture to soften the hard skin and avoid cracked heels. Alternately, use a foot scrub and apply moisturizing cream or petroleum jelly all over feet.

 
Meditation in routine

 
For having great advantage of your home spa treatments, give some time to meditate. Its an excellent way to reduce stress and worries of daily life. Find the best type of meditation that works for you and stick to it.
